<h1>Lead Carpenter </h1>Worthington and Shagen Custom Builder Reports to: Project Manager<h2> </h2><h2>About the Role</h2>Worthington and Shagen Custom Builder is hiring an experienced&nbsp;Lead Carpenter&nbsp;to lead residential construction projects in the field from setup through completion. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with clients and team members, and knows how to keep projects moving efficiently.This position is ideal for a carpenter who can lead by example, solve problems proactively, and maintain high standards for quality, safety, and professionalism.<h2> </h2><h2>What You'll Do</h2><ul><li>Lead day-to-day jobsite operations</li><li>Review plans, scope, and project details before and during construction</li><li>Coordinate materials, subcontractors, and scheduling in the field</li><li>Maintain quality, safety, cleanliness, and jobsite organization</li><li>Communicate with clients and keep the Project Manager updated on progress, issues, and change orders</li><li>Complete carpentry work as needed.</li></ul><h2>What We're Looking For</h2><ul><li>Strong residential carpentry experience</li><li>Experience leading jobsites or supervising crews</li><li>Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications</li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills</li><li>High standards for workmanship, professionalism, and accountability</li><li>Reliable attendance and strong jobsite leadership</li><li>Commitment to safety, organization, and client satisfaction</li><li>Expert Carpentry skills</li></ul><h2>What Success Looks Like</h2><ul><li>Projects stay organized and move efficiently</li><li>Work is completed to a high standard</li><li>Clients feel informed and well taken care of</li><li>Jobsites remain safe, clean, and secure</li><li>Problems are handled early and professionally</li><li>Communication is clear and consistent throughout the project</li></ul><h2>Compensation</h2><ul><li>Pay Range:&nbsp;$35-$40/hr DOE</li><li>Medical insurance (available after 90 days)</li><li>401K (with 3% matching)</li><li>profit sharing</li><li>Paid time off.</li></ul>
